Our Purpose

• To represent the Rural Community of the Hornsby Shires Rural Areas in any discussion and/or negotiation with any or all Government Bodies or other Groups to progress the views and wishes of that Community in order to achieve its desired aims.

 

Our Objectives

• To meet with and confer with all interested Members of the HRAA concerning any Community subject.

• To establish from such meetings what the aims and objectives of the Members are in respect of any particular subject.

• To convey those aims and objectives, with vigour where necessary, to the responsible Government bodies or other groups and ensure, wherever possible, that those views are understood and taken into account with any resultant planning or actions.

Our Immediate Tasks

• Replanning of the Hornsby Shire Rural Areas.

• Widening of New Line Road.

 

We want to work with both Council and Government to formulate the way ahead and ensure that the results are what the Community wants. Council and Government want our participation!
